Abstract

Quantitative shear wave elastography (SWE) has been developed and utilized to aid in the differentiation between benign and malignant breast lesions based on lesions stiffness. To determine the correlation between the elasticity values of solid breast lesion and histopathological results to define cutoff elasticity values differentiating malignant from benign lesions and the need for biopsy.
