Abstract

Many of the diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures involve exposure to ionising radiation. Awareness of application protection guidelines and instruments among radiology technicians has an important role to ensure the safety of the patients and other healthcare personnel. There are very few studies among radiology workers. The aim of this study is to assess the level of radiation awareness during common radiographic procedures among radiographers. The design of this study is descriptive, cross sectional study. Population of study are radiographers in the private settings in Johor.
